Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for equipment selection, technical specifications, process flows, and control velocities.
- Expected to have experience in commissioning activities alongside detailed involvement in project materialization.
- Functions as a pivotal role in ensuring that the right processes are designed, and the appropriate equipment is procured to meet project specifications.
- Requires individuals with extensive project field experience rather than production-related backgrounds, emphasizing a focus on project design and equipment performance.
Requirements:
- Degree in Extractive Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- 5 years' experience in a similar position and work environment of which 2 years should have been on Senior Management level.
- Minerals Processing background and knowledge.
- Contractor Management experience will be advantageous.
- Good data analytical skills & floatation experience.
- Understanding of Process Plant Control Elements i.e. Control & Operating philosophy, Control logics, Functional specifications, Control system architect.
- Commissioning knowledge i.e. Commissioning Management Plan, Commissioning Execution Plan, Commissioning Strategy Outline, Hazop (Pre-commissioning Hazop).
