MULTI is the world's first rope-free elevator. By moving multiple cars in a single shaft vertically and horizontally, MULTI opens the door to new possibilities – in all directions.
- Strategic, international project purchasing of components, subsystems and services for the new MULTI lift system
- Identifying and building a strong and strategically relevant supplier base in collaboration with the development and quality engineers
- Preparation of sourcing decisions with project stakeholders to ensure decisions are in line with project objectives
- Contract negotiations and conclusion of price and framework agreements in German and English
- Identifying risks in the supply chain by means of risk analyses and developing measures to minimise risks
- Developing and driving cost reduction measures (e.g. via design-to-cost, target costing) in order to achieve the defined target costs
- Ensuring compliance with contractual services
- Recognising delivery bottlenecks at an early stage and providing support in critical situations in order to ensure that deliveries are made on time and in quantity
- Successfully completed university degree (e.g. business administration specialising in supply chain management) or a commercial apprenticeship combined with professional experience in strategic purchasing
- Several years of professional experience as a buyer, preferably in technical and international project purchasing
- Very good German skills required
- Business fluent in written and spoken English, additional language skills are an advantage
- Good knowledge of SAP-MM and MS Office
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
- Strong analytical and solution-orientated thinking with a strong time focus
- Confident team player in a dynamic team who is willing to help build something completely new
