Requirements & Qualifications
Instructor Duties: - Develop and deliver training modules on UAS electrical systems, including power distribution, wiring harnesses, control systems, and payloads.
- Conduct practical training sessions to educate personnel on electrical assembly, troubleshooting, and repair techniques specific to UAS.
- Create instructional materials such as manuals, presentations, and simulations to enhance learning effectiveness.
Technician Duties:
- Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repair of UAS electrical components and systems.
- Conduct regular inspections and tests to ensure UAS electrical systems meet operational standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to evaluate and improve UAS electrical designs and performance.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of training activities, participant progress, and certification outcomes.
- Prepare detailed technical reports on UAS electrical maintenance, repairs, and operational issues.
Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during training sessions and maintenance activities.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices related to UAS electrical systems and operations.
Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Avionics, or a related field.
- Proven experience (minimum 5 years) working with UAS or similar electrical systems in the aviation industry.
- In-depth knowledge of UAS electrical systems, including power distribution, wiring diagrams, avionics, and associated subsystems.
- Previous experience in instructional roles, delivering technical training preferred.
- Certification in UAS operations and maintenance is highly advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly and effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
