The Group currently has a vacancy for a fast paced and detail orientated Senior Payments Administrator to join the team. The successful candidate will provide supervisory, administrative and office support to the Payments team situated at the Gauteng Head Office in Elandsfontein. The successful candidate will report to the Payments Manager. He/she will also have to:
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
NB! Must have the ability to multi-task and manage a demanding workload in a highly pressurized environment. Do not apply if you are not able to work under a large amount of pressure.
- Ensure all Cash and EFT payments to suppliers of scrap are processed accurately and timeously
- Assist the Payments Manager with ensuring that Payments procedures are adhered to whilst meeting deadlines and targets
- Contribute to the team’s efforts by accomplishing results as required by Management
- Authorize scrap payments for all branches including but not limited to payments for brokered loads
- Monitor and check EFT batches
- Ensure that the cash office is running efficiently
- Manage daily cash ups for the PTA and ELF branches
- Ensure cash orders are placed on time and accurately
- Adhoc reporting and admin work
QUALIFYING CRITERIA
- Minimum of an NQF Level 6 qualification (Diploma) in Finance or similar field
- At least 2 years working experience in payments/invoicing
- Working experience with cash handling
- Computer literate – MS Office, internet, whatsapp, e-mail – Excel is compulsory
- Supervisory experience would be beneficial
