MUST MEET REQUIREMENTS : NQF LIC 5 AND SACPCMP
Qualification/requirements advantageous:
- National Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering
- NQF 5 – Labour Intensive Construction Processes (NQF LIC 5)
- SACPCMP registration – PrCM will be highly advantageous
- 5 years experience
- Proven track record
- Valid drivers license
- No criminal record
- Experienced in civil construction – Concrete, roadworks and or pipelines
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Ensure the scope of works is carried out in accordance with the project specifications, construction programme and budget
- Liaise with the Employer’s Agent for day to day activities (site requests and instructions)
- Plan, manage, delegate tasks and coordinate day to day activities on site
- Manage construction activities with site staff and labour
- Manage quality control on site
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with the approved OH&S Plan and OH&S Act & Regulations
- Manage subcontractors and SMMES on site
- Attend all site related meetings/audits
- Compiling of monthly payment certificates for approval
- Compiling of monthly meeting and management reports
- Compiling of monthly productivity reports
- Completing daily site diary
