Job Description
We are recruiting on behalf of our client based in Houghton who are looking for a Financial Manager.
The Finance Manager will play a key role in organizing and overseeing the operational elements of the finance needs. The Finance Manager will be expected to oversee all aspects of accounting and financial reporting and in close collaboration with the Managing Executive will assist with strategic financial management, budget planning and management. The ideal candidate must be able to thrive in a start-up environment, where high degrees of self-direction, agility, and creative problem-solving are required and encouraged. The Finance Manager will work closely with a Project Administrator who currently executes basic finance functions.
Must Have:
- Candidate needs industry experience (PPC).
- 3 years post CA(SA) qualification experience.
- Interest in working in a social impact-oriented organization.
- Experience with SAGE and XERO accounting systems.
