Hire Resolve is assisting a reputable construction company based in Rosebank, Johannesburg in their search for a skilled Construction Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing construction projects from start to finish within the specified budget and time frame.
Responsibilities:
Planning and organizing construction projects Managing and supervising construction teams and subcontractors Monitoring project progress and ensuring adherence to timelines Controlling project costs and ensuring adherence to budget Enforcing compliance with safety regulations and quality standards Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders Preparing and presenting internal and external reports to clients and management Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licences Analyse, manage and mitigate risks
Requirements: 5 to 8 years of experience as a Construction Manager Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field Would be advantages to be professionally registered Experience in managing medium to large-scale construction projects Retail petroleum industry experience would be advantages. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Proficiency in project management software and MS Office suite
