Description Hire Resolve’s client in the Investment Industry is urgently seeking a highly skilled Operations Specialist to join their team in Cape Town.
Responsibilities
Position within the operations team, principally as an operations specialist. The Purpose of this role is to contribute to and promote robust operating procedures across the investment management business to create and efficient, responsive and process driven operations team Assist with investment reporting and analysis Collaborate with internal teams to optimize operational processes Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory changes Provide support to the investment team in various ad-hoc tasks as required
Requirements Appropriate finance qualification: Chartered Accountant. Specialist qualification in financial services would be advantageous. Self driven with at least 2-5 years working in operations in the financial services industry( Preferably in fund management) Experience with reconciliations and cash management essential Strong communicator and team player Relevant computer skills and systems experience , including advanced excel skills. Experience in a programming language would be advantageous but not required. Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large sets of data Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
