A hands-on Junior Renewable Energy Asset Manager with an entrepreneurial mindset is sought by our client, an energy fund and development partner. They provide turnkey energy solutions to their clients through services such as production, management, and storage thereof ensuring that organizations are energy independent through seamless and cost-efficient solutions. In recent years, they have experienced a significant increase in projects and have a growing pipeline and investment that is expected to triple their portfolio. As a result, they are looking to grow their team with exceptional talent.
You will be situated at their Bryanston offices and will report to 2 Directors. Your responsibilities will include overseeing EPC contractors, giving advice on new acquisitions, reporting on portfolio performance, and managing O&M teams. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating detailed budgets for maintenance and upgrades on projects, offering technical solutions, and taking on any other tasks assigned to you on an as-needed basis.
A stable track record and an Electrical Engineering diploma or degree are non-negotiable requirements for this role. Furthermore, you will need to have a minimum of 3 years of experience as Asset Manager and demonstrated practical experience in the electrical engineering field. Having a collaborative attitude, strong work ethic, and proactive nature are crucial characteristics for success in this position.
