They have an extensive record of buying and renovating properties and take pride in managing their entire portfolio and facilities in-house. To join their multi-faceted team, they are seeking a dynamic individual to drive their collections and assist in all manner of legal advisory and drafting work.
Reporting to the Managing Director, this temporary role will be based, full-time, in their high-quality offices in the Marshaltown. While most of the role will require spearheading their rental collections function, you will also need to manage their in-house legal function. This will involve managing external attorneys, drafting of legal agreements, assisting with contract vetting & negotiation with a variety of SLAs, as well as providing legal support to the facilities, leasing and development teams. In short, a strong grasp of legal frameworks within the property sector, coupled with a keen eye for effective collections strategies will be central to excelling in this role.
They are seeking an admitted attorney with 2 to 3 years of post-admission experience. Experience in managing legal aspects of property leasing, rental agreements, and keeping up to date with changes within the property-related litigation sphere will be highly advantageous. That said, would suit any legal professional who is detail driven & who can run a tight ship in large commercial rental spaces.
