Job DescriptionMarket leading tour operator looking for a sound, effective communicator and highly motivated, well-organised person to join our operations team. Must have a sharp eye for detail, confident and positive phone manner, solid grasp of numbers, and be efficient with IT systems.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out operational admin for UK activities and UK based holidays
- Processing and managing accommodation reservations
- Booking suppliers and maintaining key business relationships
- Making payments, monitoring trip costs and keeping accurate records
- Implementing the Operations Tools in organising and finalising UK holidays
- Assisting in the effective management of resources for UK holidays
- Ensuring efficient and safe operation of UK based holidays
- Continuous improvement of and adherence to clear operating SOPs for UK operations
- Contribute to Skedaddle best practices and projects as necessary
Qualifications
- Degree educated
- At least 1 year experience in an operations or logistics coordination role, preferably in travel/tourism/hospitality/events work
- Experience managing supplier relationships and payments/accounts
- Experience working with and maintaining databases
- Some knowledge and experience with cycling is helpful
