We are working with an award-winning sports communications agency who are seeking a brilliant and creative Account Director to join them at an exciting time of growth. This agency is on a mission to get people loving sport as much as they do!
The ideal candidate will be a positive and collaborative leader, with outstanding communication skills, creativity, high standards and a drive to help their team shape and deliver high quality work.
We are looking for someone who specifically has a passion for several sports, is a high-class comms operator, and who is ambitious to grow alongside the agency and hungry to build their dream communications career.

THE ROLE
The Account Director will play a hugely important role within the agency, joining the extended Management Team and leading several of their world-class clients, reporting into our Head of Clients and, at times, Co-Founders.
You will also be responsible for line-managing an Account Manager and Account Executives as you further develop your future leadership and agency management credentials.
You will have excellent brand experience, and be comfortable working with elite talent and ambassadors across consumer campaigns, as well as an ability to navigate clients through the unique challenges of B2B campaigns.
You will be empowered to play a prominent role in new business pitches, something which the whole agency contributes to.

- A reputation for being a fantastic role model, leader and coach for their team
- A natural love and enthusiasm for PR, and experience leading their team to brilliantly execute earned media campaigns
- Be able to commute to the office in Shoreditch, London
BENEFICIAL ATTRIBUTES
- Client experience within the sports media business sector, including broadcast, sports betting and entertainment
- Direct experience of working on sport related clients or campaigns more broadly
- (Note: We do not expect candidates to come from an agency that specialises in sport, indeed relevant consumer PR experience is every bit as valuable)
