Regional Manager: Estates
Location: Century City, Cape Town
Purpose of the Role:
- To manage and oversee the Estates and Property Portfolio within the respective regions for optimal collaboration. Regular travel within the region and to Head Office is required.
- This includes staff, contractor, vendor, customer, and stakeholder management and relations.
- Conduct responsibilities in a timely manner with the goal of enhancing processes.
- Implement efficiencies, lower costs, and achieve streamlined processes.
- Implement contractual terms while adhering to all regulatory policies, procedures, and processes.
- Manage programs for lease and contract renewals, consent and novations, landlord negotiations, customer liaison, and other strategic estates projects, driving a culture aligned to the Performance Management Framework.
Responsibilities Will Include:
- Managing rentals and developing initiatives to aggressively reduce costs.
- Maintaining high productivity and an entrepreneurial focus in managing operations, staff, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Ensuring high standards, customer excellence, and quality assurance.
- Developing and implementing innovative initiatives to further reduce and optimize OPEX.
- Compiling management dashboards, strategic and operations reports, and presentations.
Must Haves:
- Matric.
- Relevant Degree such as BSc, QS, Building Science, or Civil Engineering.
- Project Management qualification.
- Town Planning knowledge.
- 8+ years of relevant functional experience, including:
- 2-3 years of knowledge and experience of contractual legal requirements.
- 2-3 years of environmental experience.
- 2-3 years of town planning experience.
