Position Overview:
Work directly under the guidance of the practice head in London. This role demands a comprehensive understanding of employment law, outstanding analytical skills, and a collaborative spirit, as you will receive direct mentorship from a partner.
Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on various aspects of UK employment law, including contractual negotiations, enforcement of post-termination restrictions, and defence of tribunal claims.
- Depending on your level of experience, take on increasingly client-facing roles and responsibilities.
- Support the firm’s UK network, contribute to team development, uphold firm values, and participate in marketing and industry events.
- Lead the development and delivery of training and presentations, draft articles, and prepare legal know-how materials.
Qualifications:
- Qualified solicitor in England and Wales with 2+ years of post-qualification experience in employment law.
- Proficient in employment aspects of UK transactions.
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building and maintaining client relationships.
- Independent yet team-oriented with a proactive and commercially minded approach.
