Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced solution consultant to spearhead our pre-sales/solution consulting function in our rapidly growing company. This role involves providing technical expertise, conducting product demonstrations, and ensuring they meet prospect requirements, balancing technical knowledge, sales skills, and customer-facing capabilities.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead technical demonstrations and solution presentations for prospects.
- Assess customer requirements and evaluate technical fit.
- Collaborate with sales teams to identify opportunities and provide technical support.
- Assist in building business cases and ROI-backed proposals.
- Respond to RFPs with accurate and clear information.
- Provide customer feedback to product and engineering teams.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor products, and industry developments.
- Train and support the commercial team.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners, acting as a technical advisor.
Knowledge, Experience & Skills:
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or five years of relevant experience.
- At least five years in a pre-sales/solution consulting role, preferably in enterprise software.
- Ability to understand complex technical products and solutions.
- Strong communication and presentation skills for non-technical audiences.
- Experience in responding to RFPs and RFIs.
- Excellent problem-solving and strategic thinking skills.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with software for the CFO office.
- Knowledge of the Accounts Payable space.
