Job DescriptionHawksworth UK are now recruiting for a ‘Voice Telecommunications Support Technician’ for an initial 6 month Inside IR35 Contract. Strong likelihood of extension. London based, x5 days in the office per week. This is a technical support role. £400 per day Inside IR35 through an umbrella company.
Your time is likely to be distributed as follows :
- Technical hand-on support and administration and help of phones (desk & mobiles) 65%
- Technical hand-on support and administration and help for meeting room Cisco WebEx 15%
- Engaged in strategy, design, meetings, discussion and projects 10%
- Ordering, stock management, reporting, statistics and service integrity checking 10%
The job:
Voice Telecoms specialist to join the telecommunications team of an investment bank, London. As a Telecoms Support Technician, you will be installing and maintaining and administrating telephone systems and providing face-to-face, telephone and email support to end-users ,activities, including :
- Cisco IP Telephony (desk phone installation, administration and support)
- Cisco video conferencing systems (managing and supporting meeting room equipment and room users)
- Trading voice turrets (experience of installing and using dealer boards)
- Managing SIP service providers and SIP trunks
- Nice NTR voice recording (supporting call recording integrity and playback)
Required skills & experience:
- Cisco IP Telephony support experience
- Cisco Video conferencing systems
- SIP service providers & SIP trunks
- Nice NTR
- Cisco CUCM
- Supporting Mobile phones and meeting room equipment
- Financial Services Industry experience (ideally Investment Banking)
