Key Responsibilities: - Taxation: Prepare and review annual tax calculations, submit corporate tax returns, and ensure compliance with local tax regulations.
- Month-End Reporting: Oversee financial reporting packs, conduct variance analysis, and ensure compliance with group reporting requirements and GAAP/IFRS standards.
- Operational Efficiency: Develop business intelligence tools, optimize systems, and prepare management reports for African countries.
- Finance Support: Document and align accounting policies, assist with audits, manage payments, and liaise with professional advisors.
- Risk Management: Prepare annual risk assessments, implement controls, and manage insurance declarations.
- Due Diligence: Conduct due diligence for mergers and acquisitions, maintain records, and oversee the implementation of successful deals.
Qualifications and Experience: - CIMA qualification.
- 6-10 years of relevant international financial experience, including Africa reporting and SAP/JDE.
