Job Description
Your responsibilities will be the following:
- Oversee regional and local sales staff.
- Plan and direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and service programs.
- Assist with resolving customer complaints regarding sales and service.
- Monitor customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts.
- Management of product introduction, new product development, customer satisfaction and centricity, negotiation of supply agreements
- Management of existing contracts and supply agreements
- Prepare annual sales budget, monthly forecasts and monthly sales reports.
- Manage and grow export opportunities with the sales team
- Manage sales targets and impact of rates of Exchange on profitability
- Manage development of new products and supply chain into new markets
- Determine price schedules and discount rates.
- Prepare budgets and approve budget expenditures.
- Effectively set targets and manages/trains staff.
Qualifications
- Matric / Grade 12.
- BCom in Sales and Marketing (preferable)
- N Dip in Food Sciences would be an advantage
Skills
- Minimum 6 years technical and commercial experience within the Coatings and Construction industries.
- Must have sound understanding of pricing structures.
- Minimum 5 years management role leading a team
