REQUIREMENTS - Matric, Degree in Finance, Procurement or Supply Chain
- At least 3 years management experience in Procurement or Supply Chain in an Industrial manufacturing environment
- Proven track record in strategic sourcing, supplier management, and contract negotiation
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and inspire a team
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement software
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
DUTIES - Management and coordination of all Procurement activities for the business which includes the various manufacturing operations
- Provide Procurement best practice and continuous optimisation support to the business
- Ensure that Procurement contributes to the business achieving its objectives
- Ensure Procurement compliance to group procurement, financial and code of ethics policies
- Prepare and manage annual budget preparation and quarterly outlooks for key commodities
- Manage Key commodity, service, and capital purchase price negotiations
- Manage key commodity order placement, delivery, and stock levels in conjunction with Production Planning
- Tender issue and evaluation for key commodities, services, and capital purchases
- Manage contract implementation for key commodities, services, and capital purchases
- Continuous improvement initiatives through regular supplier and commodity reviews
- Oversee supplier performance
- Manage Procurement Personnel recruitment and performance
- Maintain Procurement Supplier and Commodity information on the group SharePoint portal including key commodity trends and analyses.
