Senior Marketing Lead – City Development and Lodge
Overview Property Group is seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Marketing Lead to drive marketing efforts for both a large city development project and Lodge and Spa. This role demands a dynamic self-starter who can independently create, implement, and manage comprehensive marketing strategies across both projects while leading teams and driving results.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Execute Marketing Strategies: Lead the creation and execution of effective, innovative marketing strategies for the city development and Lodge, aimed at attracting investors, driving property sales, and increasing guest bookings.
- Project Leadership: Take ownership of marketing projects from conception to execution, ensuring all initiatives align with the overall business goals.
- Investor Engagement: Design and implement marketing campaigns that appeal to high-net-worth individuals and institutional investors.
- Property Sales Marketing: Develop and lead targeted marketing campaigns to support property sales efforts.
- Creative Leadership: Drive the development of high-quality marketing packs and materials that are visually engaging and tailored to target audiences.
- Social Media Oversight: Analyze and manage all social media teams to ensure brand alignment and effective engagement strategies.
- Self-Starter & Team Leadership: Be a proactive leader who can initiate and manage marketing projects independently, guiding teams effectively.
Minimum Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, urban planning, communications, or a related field.
- Master’s degree (MBA or Marketing-related) is often preferred but not always required.
Experience
- 7-10 years of marketing experience, with a focus on real estate, urban planning, city development, or public infrastructure .
- Proven leadership in marketing large-scale development projects, urban revitalization, or city branding campaigns.
- Experience in working with municipalities, government agencies, and private developers .
- Experience managing teams, budgets, and collaborating with cross-functional teams (sales, communications, etc.).
Skills
- Strategic marketing and branding skills, especially in city development, real estate, or community development.
- Strong understanding of urban development trends, market analysis, and customer insights .
- Project management and the ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects from concept to execution.
- Proficiency in digital marketing, content strategy, social media , and traditional marketing channels.
- Experience with public relations and community engagement strategies.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to measure and report on the effectiveness of marketing efforts.
- Networking and relationship-building skills with key stakeholders (local government, businesses, and community leaders).
Leadership and Soft Skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging with senior executives, government officials, and community leaders.
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to lead a marketing team and foster collaboration.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, adaptability, and the capacity to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Negotiation and stakeholder management skills, especially in a city development context where various interests must be balanced.
Certifications (Optional but Beneficial)
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification if project management is a significant part of the role.
- Digital marketing certifications , such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, or certifications from platforms like HubSpot or Hootsuite, can be advantageous.
- Certification in urban planning or related areas might be beneficial if the role has a heavy focus on city development strategy.
