Warehouse Administrator
We are looking for an organised, proactive Warehouse Administrator to help keep a busy warehouse operation running smoothly. You'll support stock, orders and documentation with accuracy and pace, ensuring the wider team can deliver a reliable service.

Hours: Monday-Thursday 08:30-17:00; Friday 09:00-16:00
Hourly Rate: £13.00 per hour

What You'll Do
Order & Stock Administration
Raise, process and track orders; oversee internal stock requests and facilitate when appropriate.
Maintain accurate records for goods in, goods out, returns and stock movements.
Support stock takes and investigate discrepancies.
Warehouse Systems & Documentation
Book in deliveries with customers, print pick/pack documentation and update warehouse systems (WMS/ERP).
Prepare and file warehouse paperwork in line with company procedures.
Produce basic reports (dispatch volumes, shortages, backorders) using Excel and internal systems.
Coordination & Support
Liaise with suppliers, couriers and internal teams (Operations, Customer Service, Purchasing).
Handle warehouse‑related queries and provide admin support to supervisors and operatives.
Standards & Safety
Promote safe working practices and support site standards and housekeeping where required.
What You'll Bring
Essential
Experience in an administrative role within a warehouse, logistics or fast‑paced operations environment.
Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry skills.
Confident using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and internal systems.
Clear communication skills and ability to work across different teams.
Ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and stay calm under pressure.
Desirable
Administration qualification(s) or equivalent.
Secondary education: 5 GCSEs (grades 9-4 / A*-C) including English and Maths.
Further education such as NVQ Level 2/3 in Business Administration or BTEC in Business Studies.
Experience using WMS/ERP systems (SAP, Sage, Dynamics, Oracle or similar).
Knowledge of shipping documentation and courier booking portals.
Understanding of basic stock control and inventory accuracy.
Export & International Shipping Experience (Highly Beneficial)
Experience processing European and international export orders is a strong advantage, helping reduce delays and avoid customs issues.
Typical Export Paperwork You May Handle
Commercial Invoice - item descriptions, quantities, values, Incoterms, origin, HS codes, fibre composition, footwear materials etc.
Packing List - carton contents, weights, dimensions and packaging details.
Shipping Documents - carrier labels, manifests, airway bills, bills of lading or consignment notes.
Customs Documentation - export entries/clearance data via courier, freight forwarder or broker.
Proof of Origin - statements on origin or other evidence for preferential duty claims.
Insurance/Claims Paperwork - for insured shipments or loss/damage cases.
Textiles & Footwear Specifics - HS codes, fibre composition, garment type, footwear material breakdown, origin evidence and required statements
