Kenny Recruit is delighted to be partnering with a prestigious hospitality venue to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic finance team within a multi-departmental hospitality environment, supporting operations across hotel, spa, leisure, F&B and events.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting day-to-day finance operations, income auditing, reconciliations and management information production. If you have a strong background in hospitality finance and thrive in a hands-on, fast-paced environment, this role could be a perfect fit.
Working hours: 9.00am to 5.30pm
Location: Teddington, 5 days in the office
Salary: up to £29,000 per annum (dependent on experience) + benefits
Key Responsibilities:
As the Accounts Assistant, you will support the finance department with a broad range of duties, including:

Income audit for all revenue centres ( Hotel, Spa, Leisure)

Monitor and chase the debtor balances and case any outstanding monies

Review the guest ledger balances and liaise with Front Desk and M&E to get then closed down within 48 hours

Reconcile credit cards to bank on a daily basis
-
Petty cash, monthly comps posting and float reconciliations

Prepare and post daily revenues
-
F&B margin analysis
-
Reconcile the gift vouchers
-
Update the contracts schedules
-
Update the fixed asset register
-
Balance sheet reconciliation for the control accounts: credit cards , guests and deposit ledgers

Assist with ad-hoc projects or tasks and other duties as required by the Finance Department

Work closely with the Financial Controller to manage the year-end audit process

Produce management Information in timely manner as required by Senior Management

Post expenses journals

We are seeking someone who:

Has strong experience in income audit within a multi-department hospitality business (including hotels)

Has previously worked in a self-accounting environment

Is confident working independently and managing their own workload

Brings excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills

Is comfortable collaborating with operational teams to resolve queries efficiently

Communicates clearly and professionally
-
Is proficient in using hospitality finance systems and Excel
