*Company Description*
CarpetWays is an established family-run retail flooring company based in Carlisle. With seven stores located from Kendal to Falkirk, our headquarters is our Carlisle Superstore. We also have a wholesale sister company named FSL Flooring Scotland Ltd based in Eastriggs. We supply and retail a variety of flooring options such as LVT, Laminate, Solid Wood, Engineered Wood, Vinyl, Carpets, Artificial Grass, and Beds from well-known brands.
*Role Description*
This is a full-time on-site role as a Home Consultant at CarpetWays located in Carlisle. The Home Consultant will be responsible for assisting customers with a survey of their property, before selecting the right flooring options for their homes, providing expert advice on products, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
You will receive a Basic Salary of £12.21 per hour. PLUS an exceptional commission and bonus scheme, leading to OTE of up to £36k/year.
*Qualifications*
* Must have valid UK Driving License (company vehicle will be supplied) Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
* Knowledge of different types of flooring options like LVT, Laminate, Solid Wood, etc.
* Strong sales and negotiation skills
* Ability to work well in a team and independently
* Experience in retail sales or home consultation is a plus
* An understanding of floor installation processes
