We are a rapidly growing, Bosch-approved service and repair centre specialising in multi-brand diagnostics, hybrid/EV systems, smart repair, accident repair, and advanced mechanical work. Due to expansion, we are recruiting an *experienced Level 4 Master Technician* who can lead our workshop team, elevate diagnostic standards, and support continuous technical improvement across the business.
*The Role*
We are seeking a *highly skilled, Level 4 Multi-Brand Technician* with proven experience in:
* Leading and supervising a team of technicians
* Managing complex diagnostic workflows
* Overseeing the quality and consistency of repairs
* Working on modern petrol, diesel, hybrid and EV systems
* Supporting MOT/Service/Repair operations at a professional, accredited level
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in workshop leadership and technical excellence.
*Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical & Diagnostic*
* Carry out complex diagnostics using OEM-level tools and equipment
* Diagnose engine management, electrical, hybrid, and EV faults
* Oversee advanced mechanical repairs including engine, gearbox, ADAS, and high-voltage systems
* Provide technical guidance and support to junior and mid-level technicians
* Ensure all work meets manufacturer, Bosch, and industry standards
*Workshop Leadership*
* Manage the daily workflow of technicians to maximise productivity
* Conduct job allocation, quality checks, and repair authorisations
* Support the Workshop Manager/Service Manager with operational decisions
* Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment
* Mentor technicians through skill development and competency progression
*Compliance & Standards*
* Ensure work complies with Bosch and IMI technical standards
* Maintain accurate job sheets, diagnostic records, and test results
* Support safe working practices around hybrid/EV systems
* Uphold BS10125 and manufacturer repair standards (where relevant)
*Required Skills & ExperienceEssential*
* Level 4 Light Vehicle Technician qualification (or equivalent)
* Minimum 5+ years experience in advanced diagnostics across multiple brands
* Proven track record of managing or supervising a workshop team
* Strong experience with diagnostic tools (Bosch, Autel, Dealer tools, etc.)
* Ability to diagnose and rectify complex electrical/mechanical faults
* Experience working with hybrid and EV technologies
* Full UK driving licence
*Desirable*
* IMI EV/Hybrid L4 certification
* ADAS calibration experience
* Experience within a Bosch Car Service Centre or similar accredited workshop
* MOT Tester qualification (beneficial but not mandatory)
