We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in various welding techniques, including stick welding. This role involves fabricating and assembling metal components to meet precise specifications, ensuring high-quality workmanship throughout the production process. Overtime always available.
*Responsibilities*
* Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
* Perform welding tasks using stick welding techniques, ensuring strong and durable joints.
* Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to cut, shape, and finish metal materials.
* Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve fabrication processes.
* Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.
* Overtime available.
*Qualifications*
* Proven experience in welding and fabrication, with a strong understanding of mechanical principles.
* Proficiency in basic maths for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
* Familiarity with sheet metal work is advantageous.
* Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
* Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
* A valid welding certification is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: £13.50-£15.50 per hour
