About the Role:
We’re searching for a Head Vet/Clinical Director to inspire and lead a team of two vets. Here’s what you’ll do:
* Mentor, support, and train the team.
* Make key decisions that keep us thriving and respected.
* Work closely with management to create a collaborative environment.
* Oversee vet recruitment, from reviewing CVs to hiring the right fit.
* Balance leadership with hands-on clinical work.
Proposed Schedule:
Mon, Tues, Wed, Fri: 8:30–19:30
Saturday (1:3): 9:00–13:30
We pay all the hours of your shift – including your lunch breaks – but that doesn’t mean we expect you to work over lunch – in fact we are militant about protecting lunch breaks for all of our team.
Our recently revamped main practice includes a spacious kitchen, team room, and a shower for those who cycle, gym, or need to freshen up (oh…and a retro N64, if classic Mario kart is your thing!?!).
About you:
You will have a passion for leadership and mentorship, wanting to get the best out of your team.
You will be an experienced small animal vet (likely 4-8 years of small animal experience at least), although a further clinical qualification (e.g. a Cert) is an advantage, it is not a requirement.
