Temporary Customer Support Assistant
Location: Middlesbrough (Office-based)
Contract: 3-month temporary assignment
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour
We are looking for a proactive and organised Customer Support Assistant to join the team on a temporary basis. This role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills who enjoys providing excellent customer service and supporting the smooth running of day-to-day office operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Reception & Call Handling: Answer incoming calls, manage the switchboard and direct callers to the appropriate teams efficiently and professionally.
Email Support: Monitor shared inboxes, allocate emails to the correct queues, and forward messages to relevant departments.
Administrative Tasks: Assist with light administrative duties including scanning documents and distributing incoming post.
General Customer Support: Provide helpful and friendly support to customers and internal teams as needed.What We're Looking For
Previous experience in a customer service, reception or administrative role (desired but not essential).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Good organisational abilities and attention to detail.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, office-based environment.
