*Motor Mechanic*
We are a busy independent MOT test and repair centre looking to employ an experienced Motor Mechanic in Bath.
The successful candidate will need to have previous experience in a similar role, can work independently, use their initiative and work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
The role is full time Monday- Friday working hours are 8am-5pm. Opportunity for extra hours on Saturday mornings if wanted.
*Job Roles*
· Perform routine vehicle servicing, maintenance and general repairs.
· Communicate with customers to understand issues, concerns and provide work estimates.
· Accurately use diagnostic equipment to investigate vehicles issues.
· Maintain equipment and keep work areas clean and tidy.
· Clutches and timing belts.
*Candidate expectations*
· Have a full clean UK driving license.
· 5+ years’ experience.
· Own your own tools.
· Ideally you will be qualified to NVQ level 2/3, City of Guilds or equivalent.
· A MOT qualification (desirable but not essential)
· Friendly and presentable.
The successful applicant will need to have great attention to detail, be flexible, hardworking and be able to work well under pressure.

£30,000 - £43,000 depending on experience.
