Finance Assistant – Up to £35,000 – 14-Month FTC (Maternity Cover) – Hybrid (2–3 Days Office)
I’m working with a supportive and well-established business that is looking to bring a proactive Finance Assistant into their team on a 14-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave.
This role offers a great mix of credit control and purchase ledger duties, with the option to work full-time or reduced hours, depending on what suits you best. You’ll also benefit from a hybrid working model with 2/3 days in the office each week.
What you’ll be doing:
▪️Posting bank transactions daily
▪️Preparing weekly statements and reconciliations
▪️Sending statements to customers
▪️Chasing outstanding debtors
▪️Handling customer queries and investigating discrepancies
▪️Supporting purchase ledger tasks
▪️Consolidating invoices
▪️General ad hoc finance duties as required
This role would suit someone with solid finance experience who enjoys variety, is confident communicating with customers, and can work efficiently within a friendly and collaborative finance team.
