Plating Operative
Salary: £15.24 per hour + 10% shift allowance (once trained)
Location: Glasgow
Hours: 37 hours, Monday–Friday (move to 2-shift rotation once trained)
Contract: Permanent

We’re supporting an engineering manufacturer in Glasgow that is expanding their plating and finishing team. This is an excellent opportunity to learn chemical plating processes with full training provided.
Shift Rotations:
Mon to Thurs, 6 am – 2 pm & Fri, 6 am 1.30 pm
Mon to Thurs, 2 pm – 10 pm & Fri, 2 pm – 9.30 pm

Plating Operative Duties
Operate chemical plating lines across multiple coatings
Monitor production tanks and adjust chemical levels
Carry out X-ray testing for coating thickness
Complete job cards and maintain accurate documentation
Work safely and maintain high-quality standards
