Job Title: Extrusion Production Operative
Location: Bingley
Salary: £13.72 p/hr
XCL Group are recruiting on behalf of our client who are a well-established Polythene manufacturer. They are looking for experienced machine operatives who ideally come from a background within a similar industry to join their team on a permanent basis.
This role would be ideal for someone who can hit the ground running within a busy factory environment and is confident operating machinery. The ideal candidate must be flexible with the shifts as this role operates on a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern, days and nights.
Job Responsibilities:

Safely operate the extrusion lines and bagging machines

Blend and mix the raw materials as required on the job card

Load the machines with the correct ready-produced film as required on the job card

Lift up to 25KG rolls of material

Ensure the machines are kept clean and they are running at maximum production efficiency

Pack the products according to the customers’ requirements

Follow work procedures safely and ensure you are always adhering to the company’s health and safety, hygiene and quality rules

Report any machinery faults to the supervisor

Update production records correctly and ensure a smooth handover at the end of each shift

Can reliably commute to site for the 6:00am starts

Hours:
4 on 4 off ( 2 days, 2 nights)
12 hour shift
