Key Responsibilities
Morning Support (7:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.):

Support E with her morning routine, including removing her Bi-PAP mask, washing, dressing, and preparing for the day.

Assist with breakfast (three soya yoghurts), encouraging safe eating and helping open lids as needed.

Administer medication and hydration via gastrostomy (PEG) following training and guidelines.

Support with personal grooming (hair, glasses, deodorant, bib, etc.).

Encourage independence with packing her college bag and preparing for travel.

Prompt E to wear appropriate clothing for the weather.
Afternoon Support (3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.):

Provide after-college support, including supervision during snack or meal times.

Assist with PEG medication and hydration schedule.

Engage E in conversation, leisure, or community activities to promote confidence and life skills.

Support with daily living tasks such as budgeting, planning activities, and practising independence.
-
Provide seizure support if required (including administering buccal rescue medication, after training).

Ensure all care tasks are completed safely and documented appropriately
